the first thing I do in the morning is turn off my phone not snooze notification, not even an airplane mode, but a complete shutdown this gives me two or three hours of high-quality focus and a sense of control over my day there are days when my phone can be turned off for 9-10 hours after I wake up it might come across as irresponsible behavior (what if something urgent happens and I’m offline), but believe me, if something actually urgent happens, you’ll know about it even without your phone try it sometime, it does wonders
